Question: i will be taking up accounting course in my community college soon... but i would like to do some voluntary job too that could get me some good work experience later on. Please sggest soem voluntary community service that can get me some work experience in the field of accounting

Answer: I am a CPA. See if a church needs some help with their books. Also check out VITA(volunteers in taxpayer assistance) courses and opportunities. I had a professor that practiced pubilc accounting and worked for him during tax season. That combined real work with real money.

I remember someone did a "Teller's" job in a bank. Paid it was.

You may be able to become an intern for an accounting company.
Schools sometimes have volunteer help i the office that takes car of accounts and bills.
