Question: Is E&E going to be hot in the decade? I wonder how it's compared to other engineering fields such as mechatronics and mechanical.
Answer: EE includes many sub areas, such as optics, bioengineering, electromagnetic wave, communication and so on. Job market is large but different in different countries.
My major is optics and I never care about jobs since I want to be a researcher in University.
Choose your career according to your interest as long as you can.
