Question: Please help me :(
I know my chances probably suck. I don't have good grades...at all :(
I currently have a 3.1 (horrible, I know). But i'm only in the first semester in my junior year and it hasn't finished yet. Maybe I could raise it a bit and I can maybe attain a 3.4 or 3.5 by the end of junior year. What should I get on my SAT in order to get in if I even have a chance at all? I've done very well on my mock SATs so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. I've been on the swim team for 2 years but I was thinking of not doing it this year (should I keep taking it this year anyway?). I've only taken 1 AP class and 2 Honors (but one was in freshman year I don't think that counts). I have a lot of community service hours and I've been in the Habitat for Humanity club for 3 years. I took an SAT subject test and I did poorly. I got a 600. I'll take more this year though. What is the minimum I can get on those and two AP tests in order to get in? I doubt I have a chance but is there any way?
Answer: There are so many variables to take into account that I highly doubt anyone can give you a reliable answer to this question (though it gets asked a lot on Yahoo Answers).
Consider that the applicant pool is different each and every term - that alone makes the criteria fluid.
Keep doing your best and don't stress over it.You have many options ahead of you, each of which can lead to success, happiness and a meaningful life.

To be honest.........you might have a chance since you have community service and some upper classes.
