Question: My school is a really small private school, and has a reasonable amount of options for classes, but not a lot like public schools. What should i take as im going into my freshmen year? I'm already taking biology, english, pe and algebra 1. Those are my requirements. I'm taking French as a my language. What elective should i chose between: Yearbook, Broadcast Editing, Graphic Design, Intro to Filmmaking, Media Arts, Video Editing, Web Design, Drama, Art. Any other suggestions for classes?
Thanks everyone in advance! [=
Answer: Drama is always a good bet. Especially if the teacher emphasizes improvisation. It will help you to think on your feet in a very difficult environment. As far as aerospace and astronomy, the obvious course is a strong emphasis on math and science. Your English classes will also be very important and as much history as you can fit in. Also, if there is a community college or university in or near your home town, consider advanced placement classes as soon as you can.
Others:
You'll want physics, chemistry, biology, English obviously and lots of maths. Electives as you choose. Look at requirements for colleges you are going to apply to.
English, math, physics and chem. Of the electives you have listed any one is as good or bad as any other - go with your heart. But instead of biology look at doing physics.
Thanks
