In this course for business analysts, development executives, and project management professionals, you learn how to come up with a good project idea, how to determine whether the idea is worth pursuing, and how to persuade your client or manager to accept your project. The concepts of innovation management, strategic market analysis, feasibility analysis, estimation, preliminary project planning and return on investment, risk analysis, decision trees, and project proposals are covered in depth.
In addition to helping you understand the concepts and the requisite tools and techniques for project analysis, the course explores how to work with others to obtain reliable and accurate data. By the end of the course, you will have completed a thorough analysis of a project of your own choosing, which may be an actual project developed in your current position.
