Program Detail : This course offers the theoretical background and skills essential to effectively teach programs designed especially for adults and young adults. Using readings and discussions, written assignments, classroom observations, and a collaborative project, this course engages you in understanding the developmental characteristics of adults and the implications for selecting appropriate teaching methods and materials. Applies toward fulfillment of the Level 1 requirements for the California Adult and Vocational Education Teaching Credentials; required as first course. Supervised final examination.
