Program Detail : This survey course traces the chronology and influence of films made throughout the world since 1940. Viewing select films along with readings and discussion, we will trace the significant movements that have emerged, including Italian Neorealism, French New Wave, German New Wave, Asian Cinema, the Hollywood Studio System, and Postmodern Cinema.
