Program Detail : An introduction to technical editing as a skill and a profession, this online tutorial examines the job of the technical editor; the politics of editing; and editorial tools, techniques, and standards. Students review proofreading, copy editing, and designing the printed page. Exercises and a course project involve both editing and working with editors. Specific problems of editing in various technical fields also are addressed.
