Program Detail : Continue to effectively learn Spanish at home with the second course in the Spanish Without Walls series. Using a combination of multimedia materials and online interactions with instructors and virtual classmates, you?ll continue your search for treasure in the "Tesoros" ("Treasures") five-disk CD-ROM interactive program and book. Two Web-based materials that track your progress and provide additional cultural readings, as well as resources, activities and a testing bank. You?ll develop oral comprehension skills with a variety of Spanish accents from Spain and Latin America, read authentic texts, experience guided writing practices, and complete a first-year grammar and vocabulary sequence. You?ll also virtually explore 21 countries that make up the Spanish-speaking world. This course consists of lessons six to 10 from the CD-ROM. Plan to spend 10 hours a week on the course.
