Program Detail : This course is an examination of events of the Holocaust in relation to understanding of gender construction, gender and sex roles, and their radical transformation. Students rethink and reassess views of the Holocaust based on new theoretical perspectives. Course content focuses on the role and impact of the Holocaust on women and students explore different, gender and sex-based differences between male and female, heterosexual and homosexual experiences during the Holocaust.
