Description : The departments offer four majors--cinema arts, television arts, script and screenwriting and theatre arts--and multiple areas of study within each major. Production facilities are made available to all cinema arts, television arts and theatre arts students. The departments are committed to providing ample equipment and facilities for student use as well as an outstanding production experience. Each year the departments fund a number of student-led films, television programs and music videos, which have a pro-social theme or redemptive message. Students are welcome to self-fund other projects of their own interest. The resources of the Departments of Cinema Arts, Television Arts and Theatre Arts include a fully equipped multi-camera video production truck and a fully outfitted grip and lighting truck. Programming is originated on 16mm film and professional quality video cameras. Postproduction facilities include multiple audio and video-editing suites, which employ the latest digital nonlinear technology. The departments also have an on-going program to expand the technical capabilities of its production theatre.
