Description : Reality-based filmmaking is older than fictional filmmaking. Today more and more cable programming takes the form of magazine shows with roots in the documentary. This certificate is for students who wish to concentrate on the history and craft of nonfiction or documentary research and digital video production. This certificate--an optional professional credential--is awarded to students who successfully complete seven courses: six required and one elective. The elective may be chosen from other courses offered in the Digital Television Production area.
