Description : The Continuation Curriculum Option (CCO) pathway to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree is designed to provide the opportunity for baccalaureate pharmacists to earn the PharmD in a nontraditional instructional format while maintaining their professional practice. The core curriculum of this program has been designed to ensure that matriculants achieve equivalence in expected competencies equal to entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy degree candidates. The program is comprised of twenty-three semester hours of didactic coursework and twenty semester hours of clinical clerkship to total forty-three semester hours. Didactic courses are available for home-study, and are self-instructional. Clerkship courses require a full-time on-campus, 30 week commitment.
