Description : To be awarded a certificate--an optional credential--students must complete a prescribed number of courses as outlined below, or a combination of courses and private instruction totaling 112 contact hours. (One private instruction course is 14 contact hours.) For levels I through IV only one of each may be applied toward the certificate. Level V and advanced courses may be repeated and count toward the fulfillment of requirements for the certificate, unless otherwise indicated. Short courses do not count toward the certificate.
